2017 Life On The Farmette

Time to reflect on this year's adventures on the farmette here in Mayer. Lots of photos!
This is our soon to be screen house for our garden. It will be organic and preditor free.
Next step after painting the floor base Buddy is putting together one of four sides. The floor base has given him a nice level area to work on.
This is Buddy putting together the third wall on the floor base of the greenhouse. Using the sides of the first two walls. Genius!
Third wall painted and attached! Starting to look like a Greenhouse. Door is next.
 Two thumbs up!
Greenhouse door is finished and hung! The strusses put together and up.

Our backyard garden arbor/fence is finished! Used the redwood posts from James and Veronica's wedding.  Now due to the Goodwin fire the sky is not beautiful. Hope all is still here in a week. LOL!
Our little country farmette! Grapevine on left doing good this year. Peach tree on the right is doing well too! New gate!
WOW! My best show of the garden!
Hopefully soon the re-seeding of vegetation will fill in the burned areas from the Goodwin Fire and look like this photo again! Out on our claim overlooking the Ranchers Pond!
Lots of vegetation gone on the Mining Claim from the Goodwin Wildfire 2017. Lots of Re-Seeding underway!

Finally got the new canapy up. We used a good shade cloth and attached it to a simple wood frame.
Neat how the sun rays show on my Watercan Waterfall! Like patena coloring on old metal.

This was our Inspiration for our Screen House Project!
