August is here with even more Monsoon Storms. Phoenix had one of those Dust Storms called, "Haboob"!  A haboob ( Arabic :  هَبوب ‎  habūb  "blasting/drafting") is a type of intense  dust storm  carried on an atmospheric gravity current . Haboobs occur regularly in  arid  regions throughout the world. They have been observed in the  Sahara desert  (typically  Sudan , where they were named and described), as well as across the  Arabian Peninsula , throughout  Kuwait , and in the most arid regions of  Iraq . [1]  African haboobs result from the northward summer shift of the inter-tropical front into  North Africa , bringing moisture from the  Gulf of Guinea . Yes Monsoons are here in Arizona! Getting close to my favorite time of the year; Cooler Temps, Garden growth and Art & Craft Shows! I was a Vendor in the Edgewater Art Show in July in Lauglin and we did well! SUMMER IS HERE! Arizona is getting those three digit Temps! Need to find some shade and two strong tree limbs for my Hammock I finished in Macrame! OOPS! That's not mine! LOL There we go. We also got to spend a day with our Grandson, Leyland, at the Prescott Courthouse Park! We all learned how to Hula-Hoop! Way to go Leyland and Mommy(Raelynn)! We got terrific News as well that day from my other daughter, Brandy, that we will be grandparents again sometime in January!...
